Singapore
As the world’s busiest port, Singapore embodies the finest of both East and West. It has seen visits from Chinese junks, Indian vessels, Arab dhows, Portuguese battleships and British trading ships.
Today, super tankers and passenger liners share the busy waters with coastal fishing vessels and wooden lighters. Singapore is a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture, including Chinese temples, Muslim mosques and Christian churches.
Whether you stroll down Orchard Road for the latest fashions or cruise the bustling harbor on a traditional bumboat, you will feel the pulse of this uniquely cosmopolitan setting.
